Happy Wordless/Wordful Wednesday!!

**Playing another round of Uno with my son....**
I am off on a vacation day today! I took Monday and Wednesday off this week ( and we are closed Friday) so I get to spend a few days with my ever so darling munchkins. Yea... its been F.U.N. (not)
They are whiny, bored and lazy.
They are kids. And we just spent umteen hundreds of dollars on Christmas BUT alas.... they dont understand the concept of money ....
Monday we shopped. With our gift cards. All of them ( except for teen.. who wants to be dropped off at the mall today for "alone time" with a friend to browse and shop in peace... who wouldnt want that?) and so today brings... little money, more bored whining and who knows what else.

Wordless Wednesday~ Trev

This past weekend we went to my cousins house for a birthday party for my nephew Liam. It was a little strange because my aunt and uncle have moved the kids back into their home and the house in Princeton is on the market. We had the party there because frankly there is more land and the house is bigger than my aunts. It was still strange because no on is living there. The original furniture is still mostly there... we need to help her clean out the house soon, but it was just weird walking around the house that they used to live in. It never gets any easier.
The little dog (below) Riley has moved to the house with my aunt and the kids. The BIG dog Diesel ( Bull Mastiff) is living at the farm next door to the house in Princeton. It is just sad because these two doggies have been best friends for years and now they are separated. Just another tragedy of this loss. All in all, the kids all had blast at the party... and Trevor was snuggling with Riley while Steve was being followed around by Diesel.

Wordless Wednesday~ Jamboree

Sunday we had our first official football game of the season. We call it the Jamboree. We actually did pretty well after sucking during last weeks Scrimmage. Here are a few shots:

All in all.. it was a nice day. We then went to Wrights Chicken Farm for a delicious dinner afterwards with some football friends... then home to relax. Sundays waking up before 7 am should be illegal! Have a great rest of your week!!

So, I went to Disney and didnt buy anthing Disney related for myself. I wasnt really gonna get anything for myself but Hubby said I had to... so Kylie and I hit the Flea Market for some good, cheap knock-offs! Here is my $30 Dolce and Gabbana bag!! LOVE IT!! ( y'all know how much I adore BIG bags!!)
Oh and I got a strapless maxi dress too... which was totally comfy for the flight home! Maybe will put up pics of that next week!

Wordless Wednesday~ Aquarium

We went to the New England Aquarium yesterday while on our vacation! I have been there so many times but the kids hadn't been before and neither had my nieces. The fun thing was that we actually took the trains in from Cambridge. Neither my sister or I are good with directions and we didn't want the hassle of finding and paying for a parking space in downtown Boston so we left our car and took the T in. We had to jump 3 different trains to get in to the Aquarium but we managed fine and it was a great day!

Mostly Wordless Wednesday~ Jojo

This past sunday we took the kids to the Air Show near our house and since Jojo is always so inclined to not spend time with us doing that kind of stuff, she was invited to go to the American Girl Doll Store with my mom and my sister and her cousins. Auntie Dayna had not bought her a birthday gift back last September with a promise to get her something at the store and they finally made plans to go! So here if Jo with Mia ( her doll she got for her birthday last year) and Mia's rockin' new skater outfit complete with skateboard!!

Rain and Ducks~WW

I miss the sun. I miss the heat. I crave Summer and the last few weeks have literally been cold, rainy and miserable. Seriously. We have had over 10 straight days of rain and grey skies.. and they are calling for a few more days before it lets up. My veggie plants are drowning... my poor beach chairs are soaked.. its just yucky! Not to mention I havent been able to break out my new bathing suit yet!

I took this coming home from work yesterday accross the street from the kids school. Swans and ducks... and they seem to be loving the rain!!
