I am off on a vacation day today! I took Monday and Wednesday off this week ( and we are closed Friday) so I get to spend a few days with my ever so darling munchkins. Yea... its been F.U.N. (not)
They are whiny, bored and lazy.
They are kids. And we just spent umteen hundreds of dollars on Christmas BUT alas.... they dont understand the concept of money ....
Monday we shopped. With our gift cards. All of them ( except for teen.. who wants to be dropped off at the mall today for "alone time" with a friend to browse and shop in peace... who wouldnt want that?) and so today brings... little money, more bored whining and who knows what else.
A trip to the grocery store( oh joy) for things for New Years Eve dinner ( I make chinese food)

You Capture~ Holiday Decor

Its pathetic to say that I just took these shots this morning... I am a slacker, what can I say.
Here ya go...

Our family, done on slate... custom made. Its hard to see from this angle but my son has a football near him,Jocelyn has a microphone ( she's a singer) and Ky has a cell phone & iPod... our snowmobile is there off to the side... such a fun piece of my Holiday Decor...
My Nana made these... one each to represent my babies...

My Holiday Garland that I drape over the banister... this has held up for 3 years now.. might have to get some new stuff next year....

I ♥ Faces ~ Animals

This week over at I ♥ Faces the challenge is PETS ( or animals)

I have posted both my dogs before... this week... something different.
Saturday we went to the Ecotarium in Worcester and went on a train for a rendition of the Polar Express... this was called The Polar Bear Express.
We got to listen to the story The Polar Express... then went on a train ride up to see Kenda, the oldest living Polar Bear in captivity. We then took the train back to the building where we had hot chocolate & cookies. It was so fun! ( but cold!)

I have been so busy this week that I woke up this morning and had a panic attack because I forgot... I forgot to put together this post! So...
I went back through all the photos I have taken over the last few weeks and these are the ones that make me the happiest when I saw them... Enjoy!!

All the kids happy and smiling... a rare moment but a Happy one!!
It makes me Happy to see my husband playing with my nieces... he adores them!!
It makes me Happy that we get to see my nephews and that we all enjoy our time together!!
It makes me Happy to see my daughter LOVE her American Girl Doll. She is so passionate about her!! Its so adorable!!
It makes me Happy to see how much my newest niece Natalie adores spending time with my son and it makes me thrilled that he, being the baby of our family, is so good with her!!
It makes me Happy to see my baby turn 15!! and she is such an amazing young woman. I am so proud of her!!
